These came through our quote form in October 2026. We left out the requests that started outside Illinois and any entry we couldn't confirm as a real move. No names. Just the two ends of each move.

Only one of the three starts in Chicago itself. The other two start in Arlington Heights and Lisle.

LD Movers is based in Palatine and opened in June 2024. Loveland and Surprise don't have their own city guides in the grid. Doesn't matter. Our Google profile covers all 50 states, and a long haul is priced off a real inventory, so a missing guide never means a missing route. Colorado and Arizona both have folds below, and New Haven, the first request on the list, sits under Connecticut.

Justin's review says "Fast, efficient out of state move. Had all of our items within 2 days." That was one customer's route. Don't treat it as a promise for yours. Your delivery window gets written for your move, and that's the number to hold us to.

What You Get on an LD Long Haul

Our Google profile puts the whole promise in one sentence. One moving coordinator runs your move from inventory to delivery, never handed to a broker mid route.

A walkthrough before any price

We walk through your home and write down what's going. That inventory is what we price. A number quoted over the phone before anyone has seen your garage is a guess, and we don't quote guesses.

A binding estimate

Your binding estimate comes from that walkthrough. Lance's review opens by naming the sales rep. "Christina was my sales rep she explained everything so well..." Sarah's sums up how it should feel afterward. "Did exactly what I hired them to do. No upcharging." Xianbin's opens with "Excellent Service and great price!"

A delivery window in writing

Your delivery window goes in writing. Get it on paper before you sign anything, from us or from whoever else you're comparing us with. A window that lives only in a phone call is easy to forget and hard to argue about later.

Packing and crates

We pack, unpack and crate the pieces that need it. Kathryn wrote, "They arrived right on time and quickly but carefully tripled wrapped my furniture..." Chey's review says "Simon and his crew were very friendly and careful with our items." Lloyd's starts with "The pick up and loading team was awesome!!!"

Storage when the dates don't line up

Storage in transit is on our service list. Bring it up at the walkthrough so it's planned from the start.

That one coordinator is the promise to test us on. Marise wrote, "They were timely, flexible as possible, respectful and pleasant to work with."
