Centex built most of the original houses after the village incorporated in 1956, and the village doubled in size through the 1960s. Groot, the village hauler, takes one bulk item a week for free if it weighs 50 pounds or less and one driver can lift it. Four pieces to dump means four weeks, so start a month out. And you can't haul it off yourself. The village says everyone in its residential areas has to use the municipal waste system.
